How is Clear + Brillant performed?
Before Clear and Brilliant treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied to your face one hour before the procedure. Next, the topical numbing cream is removed and the treatment starts by rolling the laser across your skin a few times. Most patients describe the sensation as tiny needle pricks; the PRP is applied topically to all those areas that were treated with clear and brilliant. PRP will penetrate your skin deeper now the Clear and Brilliant has created multiple micro-injuries on your skin.
After the procedure, your skin will have the appearance of a mild sunburn, the redness usually lasts 24 to 48 hours, but makeup can be applied after 24 hours. Also, your skin will feel a little rough for up to a week. A few days following the treatment, you will see a more radiant complexion!
Am I a candidate for Clear + Brilliant?
Clear and Brilliant is a very safe laser for almost all skin types. Before your treatment, our staff will go through your medical history to ensure you are a candidate. Most active skincare products such as retinol, glycolic, and salicylic acid must be discontinued one week before the procedure and can not be used for a one-week post-procedure.
Clear and Brilliant can be performed on the face, neck, hands, and chest.
How many Clear + Brilliant treatments do I need?
The number of treatments needed is going to depend on your goals; most patients required 3-4 procedures. We highly encourage our clients to use clinically proven and effective skincare products as well to enhance and maintain clear and brilliant results. At our practice, we offer complimentary skin consultation to discuss your goals and primary concerns.
It is essential to keep in mind that Clear and Brilliant is a preventive anti-aging treatment and not recommended for deep wrinkles or skin with significant sun damage, for those patients, Fraxel laser, IPL laser, Resurfacing Lasers are best options.
