This patient is a 41 year old female who came into our office for a breast augmentation consultation. She decided to have silicone implants installed, increasing her breasts by two cup sizes. She was extremely pleased with her results! Our patients have the option to choose whether they want saline or silicone implants. Although the shells of both implants are made of silicone, their contents differ. Saline implants are filled with a sterile saline solution after installation into the breast, whereas silicone implants are already filled prior to installation with a silicone gel.
